Thank you for your feedback and for testing our LED magnetic linear retrofit kit in your space—we’re glad to hear installation went smoothly.
Regarding your installer’s note: these fixtures are already equipped with a 0–10V dimmable external driver. This means they can dim from 100% down to off when connected to a compatible 0–10V dimmer switch. No additional parts are required beyond a 0–10V wall dimmer control.
If a standard on/off wall switch was used, the dimming function won’t engage. To make the light fully dimmable, please be sure to pair it with a 0–10V dimmer, which is different from a traditional TRIAC or forward-phase dimmer.
So to confirm: the fixture itself is already dimmable, and you don’t need any extra internal parts—just a proper 0–10V dimmer control on the wall.
