Generally, we would not recommend it. This LED strip fixture is designed for general indoor commercial and industrial lighting applications. It is not specifically rated for installation inside commercial kitchen exhaust hoods or environments exposed to grease, cooking vapors, and elevated temperatures. For installation directly under a gas range hood, we recommend using a fixture specifically listed for commercial kitchen or grease-laden environments. If you can provide photos of the installation location, we would be happy to review the application and recommend a suitable fixture.
