The fixture comes with a factory-installed photocell, but it can easily be disabled if you don't want to use it.
There are two ways to bypass the photocell:
- Leave the protective cap on the photocell, which keeps it from detecting daylight.
- Disconnect the photocell during installation by disconnecting or cutting the photocell wires. This is the recommended method for a permanent installation without photocell control.
